Add Rooms
Add rooms to an end user on PlaceOS ONE.
1. Navigate to the Instance Manager on the Portal
2. Click on SaaS Management for the PlaceOS ONE Instance that contains the end user you would like to create rooms for.
3. Select the end user.
4. Click on Rooms
5. Select a Building from the Building dropdown.
6. Select a Floor.
7. Click on Add Room
8. Enter the Room Name
This is the room name that will be displayed to end users via the PlaceOS Applications and on Room Booking panels.
9. Enter the System/Calendar Resource Address
This is the resource address for the room calendar in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and will allow PlaceOS to show the correct room state based on existing bookings.
10. Enter room capacity.
Room capacity is used to filter rooms based on the number of meeting attendees.
11. Enable the room to be bookable.
Enabling the bookable state will allow end users to book this space from PlaceOS Applications.
12. Enter the Map ID
Enter the Map ID of the room from the SVG Map. This will allow PlaceOS to show the room state with a traffic light colour system on the floor plan.
13. Click on Save
